A GENTLE RETURN TO WHAT MATTERS!
For the mom who said yes to this life...but doesn't want to live it overwhelmed anymore.
Â
I never planned on being a stay-at-home mom…
until the Lord gently called me otherwise.
For 18 years, I worked in the dental field. My husband, Mark, serves as both a firefighter and in the military, and I had what many would call the ideal schedule for a working mom.
But everything changed when I had our daughter.
Even during the short time I was away, I felt it—this quiet ache every time I dropped her off. And beneath that ache was something deeper… a nudge I couldn’t ignore.
I knew the Lord was calling me home.
Not just to be present—but to fully step into motherhood, to homeschool, and to build something different for our family.
So, after many conversations (and a lot of unknowns), my husband and I chose to say yes.
And I won’t sugarcoat it—I was nervous.
Nervous about finances.
Nervous about being home all day.
Nervous about whether I was even capable of homeschooling my girls well.
But what I didn’t realize at the time… was that the biggest shift wouldn’t be in our finances or our routines.
It would be in my heart.
Because even after stepping into the life I felt called to… I still found myself striving.
Trying to keep up.
Trying to “do it right.”
Trying to look like the joyful, peaceful, faith-filled mom I thought I was supposed to be.
A clean home.
Home-cooked meals.
A strong faith.
All while feeling completely drained, overwhelmed, and like I was constantly falling behind.
And deep down, I started to believe the lie:
That I needed to do more…
be more…
have more…
just to feel like I was enough.
It wasn’t until I recognized I had fallen into the comparison trap that things began to change.
For the first time, I stopped looking outward…
and started asking honest questions:
What is actually working for our family?
What is God truly calling me to in this season?
What would it look like to build a home rooted in peace instead of pressure?
That’s when everything began to shift.
I started creating rhythms that felt life-giving instead of exhausting.
Letting go of unrealistic expectations.
And building a home that wasn’t just “put together” on the outside—but peaceful, calm, and nurturing on the inside.
A place where my family could truly rest… and thrive.
And over time, I realized something:
So many women are living this exact same story.
They’ve said yes to the life they felt called to…
but no one showed them how to actually live it without burnout.
They’re overwhelmed.
Stuck in comparison.
Trying to do everything “right”… but still feeling like it’s not enough.
That’s why I created this.
Not because I have it all figured out—
but because I’ve walked through the overwhelm, the striving, and the constant pressure to keep up…
…and found a simpler, more grace-filled way forward.
If you’re craving a home that feels peaceful…
a rhythm that actually works…
and a way of living that aligns with your faith instead of fighting against it—
I want to invite you to my free workshop.
This is where I’ll walk you through the exact shifts that changed everything for me…
and how you can begin creating that same peace in your own home.
